The Daily Seder

Sunday through Wednesday, from Shachris to Maariv. Thursday includes the weekly trip and kumzitz.

The Yeshiva Day

The seder begins with Shachris and breakfast, followed by the morning learning. The afternoon includes physical activity and practical instruction. Bochurim return for supper and the evening program, concluding with Maariv.

Thursday

Morning SederThe regular morning program.
Weekly TripPlanned activities include swimming, bowling, fishing, hiking and visits to a sports center.
KumzitzAn evening of niggunim and divrei chizuk, with food, in place of the regular afternoon program.

Practical Instruction

ComputersTyping, Word, Excel, QuickBooks and editing.
ConstructionInstruction in framing, plumbing and electrical work.
Sports and MusicPhysical activity, sports and music instruction.
Math, Reading and First AidMath and reading instruction, including Khan Academy, and first aid.

The full seder is required. The practical program is intended to support the bochur's chinuch and his sense of responsibility, alongside his progress in learning.

Technology Policy

Personal use of technology is prohibited during the yeshiva day. A bochur who needs a telephone for safe travel must hand it in upon arrival. Computer instruction takes place only within the supervised educational program.
