The Chinuch of the Mesivta
A bochur should be able to see what he has accomplished: in learning, in his daily seder and in the kochos he develops.
The Foundation
The yeshiva is being established for bochurim who want to remain in a Chassidishe mesivta and need a different arrangement of the day to find their hatzlachah. The aim is to give them a serious seder, clear expectations and real opportunities to accomplish.
The response is not fewer expectations. It is expectations that are clear and attainable, with personal hadrachah and a full day that recognises the bochur's different kochos.
Limud HaTorah
The morning includes iyun, bekius and chavrusa learning in focused sedorim. Clear learning goals help a bochur see his progress in the Torah he has learned and retained.
A Mesivta with Standards
The Chassidishe levush, tefillah, punctuality and respect for the yeshiva's rules are part of the mesivta. Bochurim are expected to attend the full program, learn seriously and cooperate with their chavrusos and the tzeves.
Personal use of technology is prohibited during the yeshiva day. A telephone needed for safe travel is handed in upon arrival. Computer instruction belongs only to the supervised educational program.
Kochos and Achrayus
Practical instruction, physical activity and creative work give the bochur further opportunities to develop patience, discipline and a sense of accomplishment. These are part of one chinuch, alongside the morning learning and evening program.
The more attractive parts of the program go together with attendance and cooperation in the morning seder. A bochur is joining a yeshiva, not coming only for activities.
A Personal Kesher
The chinuch calls for warmth, patience and consistency. A bochur needs mechanchim whom he can respect and turn to, who understand his strengths and difficulties and help him meet the expectations of the mesivta.
